LeLetting Go

AROMATIC CONSIDERATIONS: LeLetting Go is a favorite blend of many people. By letting go of negative emotions, we can create feelings of tolerance and compassion towards the faults and foibles of the human race, including ourselves. Regular use of this essential oil blend can help us develop feelings of trust, safety, and security.

EMOTIONAL / SPIRITUAL / MENTAL ASPECTS: LeLetting Go is literally what the name implies, an oil to aid us in the "letting go" of negative emotions that we are holding onto in the physical tissues of our bodies. You can use LeLetting Go to aid in the release of anger, frustration, resentment, despair, grief, insecurity, or any other emotion that is not serving you well. This blend is appropriate when your forward progress in emotional or physical healing seems to be halted. This oil is beneficial when used for the rebellious spirit sometimes seen in teens and others of us from time to time.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS: LeLetting go of the emotional baggage that we don't need can have an energizing effect on the colon, kidneys, liver, and gall-bladder in particular. The holding on to negativity from the past can be the root cause of constipation. Fear can cause the kidneys and the bladder to function below optimum levels. Clogging in the liver and gallbladder creates a multitude of physical problems.

Chamomile Roman

AROMATIC CONSIDERATIONS: The aroma of chamomile Roman, in my opinion, is the most relaxing scent in the entire essential oil world. Chamomile Roman is powerfully soothing. The soothing action of this oil applies to both physical and emotional conditions alike. Diffused, this oil creates an atmosphere of peace and patience.

EMOTIONAL / SPIRITUAL / MENTAL ASPECTS: Chamomile Roman smooths the flow of the chi energy throughout the body. It is this regulation of vital energy that makes chamomile Roman so powerfully soothing to both physical and emotional conditions. In fact, so powerfully does this oil unravel the negative emotions behind physical ailments, that it is sometimes hard to tell if it is working at an emotional or a physical level. Chamomile Roman is of great benefit in the treatment of chronic headaches, insomnia, nervous indigestion and nausea, and irritable bowel syndrome - to name just a few.

The smoothing out of the vital energy prevents the build-up of energetic heat, which manifests in the body as inflammation. This chamomile is particularly beneficial for alleviating neuritis, cystitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and earache.
One of the outstanding uses of chamomile Roman essential oil is for babies with colic, babies who startle awake and then cry for a long time, and infants that are just plain fussy and want to be held and comforted most of the day and night.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS: This variety of chamomile, though containing less deep blue azulene, has anti-inflammatory properties. It is of benefit when applied to aching muscles and joints. Because it is so mild and soothing, chamomile Roman is wonderful in the tub or used in a compress. This oil is very soothing for menstrual cramps, nausea, PMS, tension, and nerves.

Chamomile Roman cleanses the blood and reduces allergic reactions. Allergy sufferers can find a great deal of relief by carrying an inhaler or just a few drops of this oil on a tissue or cotton ball. Chamomile Roman is an antihistamine and soothing to inflamed tissues.

LeWoodland Path

AROMATIC CONSIDERATIONS: This blend has herbal tones that remind you of walking in the woods which is very grounding to all systems of the body. This is a good oil to bring you back to happy summer days spent among nature's greenery.

EMOTIONAL - SPIRITUAL - MENTAL ASPECTS: LeWoodland Path is designed to allow us to take a journey down a woodland path, to get a touch of spring, to reconnect with our wonderful Mother Earth. Use to relieve stress, center yourself, and begin anew as each spring the woods do.

Lemon (Citrus Limonum)

PHYSICAL ASPECTS: Lemon essential oil supports the respiratory system and is useful for asthma, bronchitis, sore throat, sinusitis, and most other respiratory complaints. Lemon oil tightens smooth muscles and strengthens connective tissue throughout the body. Lemon oil can be used for a liver or lymphatic cleanse. After cleansing is complete, lemon oil can stimulate the pancreas and the entire endocrine system. Lemon is very helpful in passing gallstones and is said to induce labor when the baby is over due. Lemon oil can be used to purify water and leaves no unpleasant taste behind.

Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.

White Oak Bark

White Oak is one of the most valuable astringent herbs because it is useful for both external and internal bleeding and wound healing. White Oak heals damaged and inflamed tissues of the skin, mucous membranes, stomach, and intestines. A tea of the bark makes an excellent wash for gum infection, a gargle for sore throats, and a corrective for diarrhea. White Oak has proven to be an excellent remedy for gangrenous and other seriously infected flesh. White Oak is one of the few herbs listed as an antidote for drug reactions and chemotherapy side effects.

Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing.

PFN complex is a patent-pending Enzyme Phyto Formulated Nutrients+ from a plant source that provides Enzyme and saccharides necessary for optimal cellular communication.

Protein and carbohydrates are chief components of the human body. For all of history, food has provided these building blocks; however, scientists are still learning the functions that specific nutritional food components play in this process. As recently as this century, benefits of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and photochemical were discovered.

There is evidence to suggest the PhytoNutrient's molecules mediate most of the communication that occurs between the 100 trillion or so cells of the human body. Incomplete or poorly formed Phyto Formulated Nutrients+ molecules can result in defective cell messages, which may have implications for immunity. Breast-fed infants are known to have an increased resistance to middle-ear infections as well as other childhood illnesses. While human milk contains high concentrations of Phyto Formulated Nutrients+, animal milks vary in the combinations and amounts present.

Below is a list of conditions we believe our Enzyme Phyto Formulated Nutrients+ supplement may be helpful with:

Alcohol Craving Anger Control Immune Function Inflammation Autistic Children Behavior Modification Osteo-Arthritis Candida Albicans Positive Outlook Lupus Menopause Coxsackle Viruses Depression Diabetes Mellitus Temper Tissue Disorders Fibromyalgia Hepatitis C Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Cold Sores or Fever Blisters (Herpes labialis) Inflammatory Diseases of the Heart Inflammatory Diseases of the Pancreas Liver Enzyme Serum Changes Dyslexia (learning difficulties) Enhanced Glutathione Levels Benign Mucous Membrane Pemphigus Canker Sores (Aphthous stomatitis) Myofacial Pain Syndrome Decrease the Need for Medications Oral Mucosal Disease Periodontal Disease (tooth loss) Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Protection from Chemically-Initiated Glutathione Depletion Respiratory Air Flow in Asthmatics Rheumatoid Arthritis Tay-Sachs Disease

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Olive oil has some outstanding properties when applied to the skin. One exceptional quality is that it attracts external moisture to the skin while still permitting the skin to release toxins through sweat. Olive oil is soothing to inflamed skin, encourages the shedding of dead skin cells, and releases sebum from the skin. The drawback to olive oil is that it is quite heavy and absorbs less readily into the skin. When used as a carrier oil, several minutes must be allowed to pass before clothing can be placed back on the body. Olive oil is also more difficult to remove from clothing and bedding than some of the lighter carrier oils.

Cleaning With Essential Oils

By Megan Westover

Spring is coming, and with it is spring cleaning! If this is drab for you, or you don't like all the chemicals in commercial cleaners, then it is time to celebrate! I'm going to share with you a few ways to detoxify this spring with easy to make homemade cleaners, that don't have all the harmful ingredients. Let's face it, we absorb lots of things through our skin and lungs, so this year when you clean your house, you don't have to worry about cleaning out your body when you've done with your house!

Essential oils have many constituents. This short and sweet list includes monoterpenes, phenols, oxides, aldehydes, and esters. Some of these are weakly acidic, and therefore, disinfecting. Ironically enough, essential oils are also high with some of these constituents and are not only good at cleaning out your cells but good on counters, laundry and toilet bowl as well. The fragrance is an added benefit of using them in your DIY cleaners. When using essential oils always use a glass container as the oils will eat away at plastic over time.

Note that every essential oil is antiseptic to some degree. Some contain higher antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral properties than others. Trying to decide which one to use can be overwhelming so here are some tips. Tea Tree is a green cleaning powerhouse. This oil is very antifungal and antimicrobial making it useful for shower corners, sinks, and anywhere mold or mildew likes to grow. It can be a disinfectant in your kitchen and around the house. During the cold season, wipe down your doorknobs and light switches with a solution of water and tea tree oil. The uses are endless. Peppermint goes well with this to leave a refreshing minty aroma.

The citrus oils such as orange, lime, and lemon are great for cutting grease and cleaning a variety of surfaces. 2 cups water, 1/2 cup vinegar and ten drops of your favorite citrus essential oil can be mixed to clean cupboards, tables, chairs, floorboards, mirrors, or floors. If you add a tablespoon or two of olive oil to this mixture and it is especially useful to revive and nourish wood.

Then we have the bathroom. A great bathroom scouring recipe is ½ cup baking soda, 2 tbsp. salt, ¼ cup washing soda and 10-20 drops essential oil. This recipe is good on any grime in your tub or sinks. Washing soda can be found in the laundry aisle next to the laundry boosters, or google "How to make washing soda".

For the toilet try ½ cup baking soda, 1 cup water, ½ cup castile soap, 10 drops tea tree, and 10 drops cinnamon. Put this in the toilet and let set for 10 min before scrubbing. After that spray with hydrogen peroxide and let that do its thing and scrub again or just flush. These recipes will clean your house without the expensive and toxic cleaners you will find at the store. They are a fraction of the cost and clean quite well.

Some tips: vinegar and baking soda are both good cleaners, but when mixed, although they fizz, this chemical reaction directly neutralizes the cleaning power and gives them a neutral pH. Use them separately for best results.

Rubbing alcohol mixed with vinegar is a good combination as well, however mixing essential oils with this is not as effective because the alcohol "cleans" the essential oil as well as other surfaces.

Sweet orange oil by itself is excellent for tough grease messes and most sticky residues. I was recently cleaning the remains of sticky tape on a window, left from taping and painting my house. It had been hardened by the sun and cold and was not coming off without a razor blade. I put some orange oil on it, and within a minute it had softened enough to come off with a little bit of rubbing with a green scrubby. I also love cleaning my stove top with it, and it takes the bacon grease off like a pro. It even takes off the old dust and grease that builds up on high surfaces and doesn't come off without a fight.

Try these recipes and don't hesitate to try your own with a variety of essential oils. They clean and disinfect and leave your house clean and fresh. Lastly, here are some good combinations of oils to try. Happy cleaning!!
