(Panic Attacks) Attacks that occur with claustrophobia, fear of heights (airplanes or bridges) in anticipation of doctor or dentist appointments, or giving a performance. This remedy can be given, in low potency, as a preventative when one must go to the dentist or speak in church, etc. The emotional issues of this remedy can be deep, making it possibly indicated for the Alzheimer’s miasm, with psora if symptoms are mild.
(Bulimia) The binge eating centers around chocolate or salty foods. The person will eat and eat chocolate long after they know they are getting sick from it. The purge is not so much a deliberate thing at the end of the binge as it is just the natural result of such an overwhelming eating session.
(ADHD and Learning and Behavioral Disorders) Hurry and worry are keynotes of this remedy. These children are always in a hurry and always in a state of anxiety about upcoming tests, book reports, or projects. They are always in motion, moving impulsively and suddenly. All symptoms get worse if the room becomes too warm or they have been allowed to consume sugary treats. A keynote is creative rationalization about why they may not do well on the upcoming test, etc. These children often complain that their stomach is upset before tests or performances.
(CFS) There is fear of failure (or success), impulsiveness—wants to do things in a hurry. Physically, the symptoms include colic with much gas and distention, lassitude, and weariness. Keynotes are craving for sweets and fear of something bad happening.
