Arsenicum iodatum
(Arsenic iodide)
This is another frequently used remedy for hyperactive children. In these cases the child simply tears apart a room, not from maliciousness, but rather, from restlessness and constant motion. This is generally considered a hot remedy. The Iodine in the remedy is indicated by the tendency to be on the move and by the fact that the person feels better for being allowed to get out and run.
