Serious cases of chronic fatigue or influenza, with almost total collapse; extreme coldness; very little vitality at all; diarrhea; heart disorders; fears to be left alone with his thoughts but does not like anyone near him; headache with occipital throbbing that is in sync with the pulse; persistent nosebleed; insomnia with cold limbs.
(Cholera) Has achieved fame in homeopathic circles for its efficacy in cholera epidemics. The keynote symptoms are, of course, vomiting and diarrhea, but the diarrhea, when it finally comes after much cramping and feeling of fullness and distension is extremely violent. There is stiffness in the muscles and dry skin that feels cold to the touch. There is great fatigue, chilliness, shock, a bluish tint to the skin, and a state of collapse from the intensity of the attack on the nervous centers and immune system.
KEYNOTES: State of collapse; first stages of a cold with chilliness and sneezing; person is chilly but does not like to be covered up; violent convulsions.
SANKARAN MENTALS: Sudden intense threat and shock from something strange and bewildering. The reaction is to withdraw, run, and hide.
