Acts on the muscles of the heart, smoothing out irregular heartbeats and reducing high blood pressure. Is reputed to have a solvent action on the calcareous deposits in arteries without creating clumps that might produce a stroke. Particularly suited to the symptoms associated with congestive heart failure.
