Erigeron canadensis
(Fleabane)
(Pregnancy, Childbirth and Infant Care) Symptoms of this remedy include weak uterus, bright red hemorrhage early and/or late in labor due to uterine atony, and characteristic very profuse flow of bright red blood that comes in a great gush and then stops temporarily but begins again—alarmingly—with the slightest movement. There is pallor and weakness due to loss of blood and often great irritation of the rectum and bladder.
Painful urination which sometimes comes with blood in the urine, congestion in the head with red face and nosebleed, fever, and violent vomiting are other conditions that, when seen, would respond well to this remedy.
