Plumbum metallicum

(Polio) With Plumbum there is progressive paralysis, usually of single muscles or parts of the body. The extensor muscles are affected first and more drastically, so that the person will suffer from hand or foot dropping. Other keynotes of Plumbum are excessive depression, ringing in the ears, and distinct blue lines in the gum margins very near the teeth.
