The following is a small amount of information on each of the INGREDIENTS of this combination.
EPHEDRA VULGARIS (ma huang) This remedy is for damage done by diet pills containing a laboratory-reduced (drug) form of ma huang. Symptoms include extreme apathy and fatigue, violent headache, nausea, and general weakness. The heartbeat will be strong but there will be a weakness of the pulse. Respiration will be accelerated, with retention of urine. There will be a heaviness in all of the limbs in the evening and numbness of entire left arm (causing some concern) and a great longing for sleep.
IPECACUANHA (ipecac root) Dryness of mouth and great thirst are indications as is chest pain with shortness of breath The pulse is accelerated but weak. One side of the face is hot, the other side is cold. There will likely be migraine or headache of gastric origin with persistent nausea and vomiting.
MANCINELLA VENENATA (manganeel apple) Pressure and needle-like pains in the chest, heart-related, with palpitations in the evening, are part of the Mancinella picture. Violent coughing from exertion is seen. The person may be forgetful with suddenly vanishing thoughts. There is painful stiffness of lower back and neck when walking. Everything is worse from cold, damp, and from cold drinks.
NATRUM SULPHURICUM (sodium sulphate) The chest feels empty and all gone or there is pressure on the chest as if a heavy load is lying there with stitches in the left side of the chest. The eyes are very sensitive to light and there are violent pains at the nape of the neck and at the base of the brain.
THUJA OCCIDENTALIS (arborvitae) This is a full-scale heart remedy. There are anxious palpitations on waking in the morning with cramp in the heart with violent pulsations in the evening. The pulse will be full and accelerated in the evening, slow and weak in the mornings with persistent swelling of veins. There is always an intense desire for dark chocolate and salt (Oh, those wonderful new bars that they make!) This is the leading remedy, in former generations, for adverse reaction to vaccinations and is still a polycrest for these types of reactions.
