The following is a small amount of information on each of the INGREDIENTS of this combination.
ARSENICUM ALBUM (white oxide of arsenic) This is a deep-acting polycrest remedy for dealing with influenzas and poisonings and has a particular affinity for the liver. Symptoms include sudden great weakness and shortness of breath. Arsensicum is a restorative for all systems of the body (digestive, urinary, circulatory, lymphatic, glandular).
BERBERIS VULGARIS (barberry) Berberis is useful in arthritic and hepatic disorders, reduces kidney inflammation and helps with kidney and gallstone pain. It aids the body in detoxifying from chemical and metal poisoning and strengthens the body overall.
GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (licorice root) This is a great liver remedy, both in detoxification and protection. It is powerfully anti-inflammatory and is used as a virus fighter.
LYCOPODIUM CLAVATUM (club moss) Lycopodium is best suited to progressive chronic illnesses with great weakness. Lycopodium is also excellent for problems with digestion and for liver dysfunction.
NATRUM MURIATICUM (sodium chloride) This is a deep grief and sorrow remedy, and is for the weakening of the immune system, and damage to heart, kidneys, and spleen that these emotions engender.
NUX VOMICA (poison nut) Nux is preeminently for men who have been under stress for a long time and is useful for the stomach and bladder, for sleep disorders, irritable nerves, and for fiery tempers.
PHYTOLACCA DECANDRA (pokeweed root) Phytolacca acts on the glandular system and helps eliminate infection and inflammation. It has a special affinity for fibrous and osseous tissues and the sheaths and fascias of the muscles of the shoulders and arms.
STILLINGIA SYLVATICA (Queen’s root) This remedy acts on respiratory, lymphatic, eliminative and glandular systems. It brings the “poison” to a pustular head and then eliminates it from the body.
THYROIDINUM (thyroid gland extract) Thyroidinum is useful for stimulating, strengthening, and regulating the thyroid and has a profound action on the heart, especially in cases of valvular heart disease.
TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE (red clover) Trifolium pratense is useful as a blood purifier and powerful detoxifying agent. It is indicated for anyone with predisposing factors for any type of cancer and is useful for respiratory illnesses with hoarseness, choking, chills, and cough at night—whooping cough.
