Glandular Support #2
POTENCY: 6X
The following is a small amount of information on each of the INGREDIENTS of this combination.
ALUMINUM SILICATA (aluminum silicate) This is a deep acting remedy for croup in the lower portion of the larynx and the upper part of the trachea, lung problems with coughing of much mucus, and chronic complaints of brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
CHAMOMILLA VULGARIS (German chamomile) Chamomilla is particularly suited for children and pregnant women. The picture includes profuse sweating (in adults), tender breasts from lymph gland swelling, and menstrual cramps with a lot of pain and irritability. Most of the symptoms of Chamomilla are linked to either glandular/hormone issues or nerve irritation.
CUPRUM METALLICUM (copper metal) Symptoms include spasms, convulsions, and cramps in toes, fingers, and calves. A few symptoms, such as a metallic taste in the mouth and grinding of teeth, may be indicative of a liver burdened with toxins or poor absorption of minerals—glandular issues.
KALI PHOSPHORICUM (potassium phosphate) Schuessler used this remedy for conditions of depleted nerves, among other things. Kali remedies have to do with the fulfilling of one’s duties and Phosphoricum remedies always indicate great fatigue. This remedy is a polycrest for mental and physical prostration brought about by a combination of overworking and psychological factors like excitement, worry, and frustration.
MYRRH (myrrh gum) Myrrh is a tonic and stimulant herb. Homeopathic symptoms include enlarged tonsils, lymph nodes, and glands, with general overproduction of mucus.
NICCOLUM CARBONICUM (nickel metal) Niccolum carb is for periodic headaches of very severe and intense nature, swollen glands with the glands in the throat sore to external touch, and coughs which bring on dizziness or convulsion—the person must be held sitting up to avoid this. Mental/emotional symptoms include becoming angry if contradicted and just plain quarrelsome most of the time.
PLUMBUM METALLICUM (lead metal) Plumbum affects the muscles, nerves, spinal cord, glandular system, kidneys, and the blood and blood vessels—quite a comprehensive list. Mental/emotional symptoms include mental exhaustion following physical labor, slow perception, increasing slowness and apathy, and the inability to find the right word when speaking.
RANUNCULUS BULBOSUS (buttercup) This is a remedy for liver dysfunction related to toxins of any kind (those found in everyday life and those, such as alcohol and prescription drugs, that are deliberately put into the body). As always, when the nerves and glandular system have been disturbed, the person becomes quarrelsome, irritable, and anxious.
THUJA OCCIDENTALIS (arbor vitae) The native habitat of a plant is considered by many herbalists to be indicative of that plant’s strengths as a healing catalyst. Thuja loves swamps and is indicated for enlarged glands, soft and spongy warts, and skin eruptions that appear only on covered parts of the body Thuja is the #1 remedy for “never the same since vaccination” glandular repair.
VALERIANA OFFICINALIS (valerian) Valeriana is a remedy for oversensitivity of the nervous system with the unusual characteristic of being worse from rest but also worse from standing. The mood and emotions are changeable (constantly) with emotions ranging from the highest joy to the deepest grief and back again, often very quickly. Impatience and irritability will also be seen.
The irritation of the nerves will become so pronounced as to trigger hysterical spasms of muscles and an inability of the person to hold still when supposedly sitting still. They wiggle and squirm all over the place. There will be terrible insomnia from nightly nervous itching and muscular spasms from the excitement of the day.
