The following is a small amount of information on each of the INGREDIENTS of this combination.
FILIX MAS (male fern) Symptoms for Filix mas include diarrhea and vomiting, abdominal pain and bloating, inflammation of lymph glands, pale face with blue circles around the eyes, and frequent but painless hiccupping. Filix is sometimes used in the treatment of tapeworms and other parasites, as well as for intestinal bacterial infestations. All symptoms are made worse from eating sweets.
MYRRH (myrrh gum) Myrrh is prized and respected for its antiseptic properties and for its abilities to cause the discharge of mucus from the body. Myrrh raises the body temperature and creates sweating (a good way to kill nasty bacteria and viruses). Myrrh is listed in homeopathic literature for stomach disorders, thrush, tonsillitis, sore throat, gum and mouth disorders, respiratory weakness with difficult expectoration, and to relieve infected or abscessed glands.
PENICILLINUM (penicillin) The homeopathic uses of this remedy would be much the same as those achieved by the drug itself with the additional benefit of detoxing and repairing the body from any side-effects or allergic reactions connected to the drug if it had ever been taken. One of these symptoms is a fever that continues for a long time and is worse in the evening.
