ASPARAGUS OFFICINALIS (asparagus) Symptoms of this remedy having to do with the kidneys include cystitis, frequent urination with a stinging and peculiar smell, thirst, and kidney stones and crystals. Restlessness increased by motion. Pain near the shoulders. There may be a pain in the forehead and root of nose, shooting pains in the heart region after a meal, belching, flatulence, vertigo, and dizziness.
PENTHORUM SEDOIDES (Virginia stonecrop) Symptoms include a dull ache in kidneys, the bladder being sore to touch, a burning sensation when urinating although the urine tests as alkaline, and a scaled sensation in the tongue.
URTICA URENS (stinging nettle) Many symptoms of this remedy have “burning” included in their description. Symptoms related to the kidneys include bleeding from the bladder, uric acid toxemia, kidney/ bladder disease, gravel in the kidneys, and acid urine with itching.
