The following is a small amount of information on each of the INGREDIENTS of this combination.
CROTON TIGLIUM (croton oil seeds) Croton is listed for neuralgias of several types including neuralgia of the tongue, peculiar feelings as if parts were being drawn such as a drawing pain through the left chest and into the back. Symptoms are better after sleep or after gentle rubbing. Croton is listed as a remedy for Rhus poisoning from exposure to poison oak and poison ivy and has similar symptoms to Rhus tox.
GALEGA OFFICINALIS (goat’s rue) Galega is a remedy which has been used extensively for diabetes and increasing the milk supply in nursing women. It is also listed for anemia, debility, and backache. I can find no mention of it for nerves or neuralgic type pains.
PISCIDIA ERYTHRINA (Jamaica dog-wood) Piscidia acts as a nerve sedative and pain killer and is listed for insomnia, neuralgia, pains, and nervous spasms.
PROZAC (fluoxetine thydrochloride) The symptom picture of this remedy includes changes in sleep habits, increased fatigue, difficulty concentrating, slowed thinking, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, suicidal thoughts, lack of muscle coordination, nervousness, enlargement of the thyroid gland, weight gain or loss, fluid retention, dehydration, kidney disorders, diabetes, pelvic pain, premenstrual syndrome with anxiety and depression, anger, persistent mood swings, joint and muscle pain, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia, chronic fatigue, headaches and migraines, too low or too high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, heart attack, heart failure, gout, arthritis, bone pain, muscle spasms, leg cramps, impotence, bleeding gums, gingivitis, slurred speech, convulsions, decreased reflexes, insomnia, marked inability to fall asleep or stay asleep, inflammation of the stomach, stomach ulcers, nausea, vomiting of blood, difficulty in swallowing, muscle spasms and weakness, tissue inflammation just below skin, and colitis.
