EUPHRASIA OFFICINALIS (eyebright) Symptoms include allergies and hay fever, feeling as if there is sand in the eyes, catarrhal conjunctivitis, catarrhal headache with profuse discharge from the nose, eyes water all the time, and burning and swelling of the lids.
HYDRASTIS CANADENSIS (golden seal) Symptoms that apply to the sinus cavities include thick, ropy discharge from the nose, frontal headache from catarrh, eustachian catarrh, and tinnitus from catarrh of the inner ear.
KALI BICHROMICUM (potassium bichromate) The symptoms of this remedy include coryza, perforation of the nasal septum, headaches over the eyebrows, migraines in small spots from the catarrh, pressure and pain at root or bridge of the nose, sinusitis, post-nasal drip of thick catarrh, large mucus plugs, loss of smell, and the nasal septum becomes ulcerated.
PULSATILLA NIGRICANS (windflower) Pulsatilla people are mild, emotional, and tearful with consolation improving all symptoms. The symptoms that apply to sinus issues are catarrhal conjunctivitis, profuse bland yellow discharges, ear infections that are worse at night, nose stopped up when indoors but running profusely outside, and large green fetid scales in the nose.
