Super Omega 3-6-9
Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fats, a type of fat your body can’t make. Omega-3 fats are a crucial part of human cell membranes. They also have other important functions, including improving heart health, supporting mental health, weight loss, decreasing liver fat, supporting infant brain development and fighting inflammation.
Like Omega-3s, Omega-6 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. Omega-6 fatty acids mainly provide energy. Some omega-6 fatty acids have shown benefits in treating symptoms of chronic disease.
Omega-9 fatty acids are monounsaturated. Omega-9 fatty acids aren’t strictly “essential,” as the body can produce them. However, consuming foods rich in omega-9 fatty acids instead of other types of fat may have health benefits.
Supportive, but not conclusive, research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA Omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
